Approval of the minutes from the Building-Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board meeting on September 6, 2024; Plumbing Code Subcommittee meeting on September 10, 2024; Electrical Code Subcommittee meeting on October 16, 2024; Mechanical Code Subcommittee meeting on October 29, 2024; Swimming Pool Code Subcommittee meeting on October 31, 2024; and Building and Fire Code Subcommittee meeting on October 31, 2024

Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

For the Master Electrician Open Shop Position, the board will take action to administratively switch the Primary (Gary Kuentz) and Secondary (Eduardo Del Toro) membership designations per Section 10-14(d), Qualifications.
Briefing and possible action on updating Chapter 10 (Building-Related Codes) by adopting the 2024 editions of the International Code Council (ICC) building-related codes, and the 2023 National Electrical Code with local amendments, and updating Chapter 11, Fire Prevention, by adopting the 2024 edition of the ICC Fire Code with local amendments.
At any time during the meeting, the Building-Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board Meeting may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
