The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will hold its regular meeting in the City Tower, 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Room 14W.103, 14th Floor beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission shall consider the following:

 
Approval of Minutes
 
1.
Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on March 18, 2024.
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval of the eligibility list for the position of District Fire Chief created from the District Fire Chief Written Examination administered on February 19, 2024, and the District Fire Chief Assessment Center administered March 20, 2024, through March 22, 2024. This eligibility list will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the day after the written exam was given, or until the list is exhausted.
3.
Notice of SAPD disciplinary suspensions without pay:
a. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Henry Galindo effective March 16, 2024.
b. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Taylor C. Thompson effective March 18, 2024.
c. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Jasmine M. Garibay-Contreras effective March 22, 2024.

These matters have not been appealed and are therefore final.
Public Comments
 
The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission may at any time during the meeting recess into an executive session to discuss personnel and/or legal issues related to any item on this agenda, pursuant to Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.071 (consultation with attorney).
