The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will hold its regular meeting in the 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, City Tower Large Conference Room 10.W1003  beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

a. An agreed three (3) day suspension for Detective Cathryn Pelkey effective May 3, 2023.
b. A one (1) day suspension for Detective Daniel Vega effective May 3, 2023.
c. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Henry Galindo effective April 18, 2023.
d. An agreed ten (10) day suspension for Sergeant Joseph A. Fech effective April 23, 2023.
e. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Rogelio E. Arevalo effective May 3, 2023.
f. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Robert T. Pompa Jr. effective April 20, 2023.
g. An agreed forty-five (45) day suspension for Officer Andrew Guerrero effective May 12, 2023.
h. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Angel J. Sandoval effective May 3, 2023.
i. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Brandon E. Cox effective May 5, 2023.
j. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Gabriel Colunga effective May 4, 2023.
k. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Jake A. Rubio effective May 6, 2023.
l. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Robert V. Moreno effective May 8, 2023.
m. A twenty-five (25) day suspension for Sergeant Seferino Alvarado Jr. effective May 7, 2023.
n. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Henry L. Blanchard effective June 2, 2023.
o. A three (3) day suspension for Fire Engineer Peter Dowlearn effective May 6, 2023.
p. An agreed thirty (30) day suspension for Detective Scott Marshall effective May 17, 2023

These matters have not been appealed and are therefore final.

Discussion regarding amendments to the San Antonio Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission RULE IX – (1) POLICE APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY LISTS FOR BEGINNING POSITIONS, and RULE IX – (2) FIRE APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY LISTS FOR BEGINNING POSITIONS.

At any time during the meeting, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission  may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
