The City Council will hold its regular meeting in the Norma S. Rodriguez Council Chamber in the Municipal Plaza Building located at 114 W. Commerce Street beginning at the above referenced date and time for the following items.  Once convened, the City Council will take up the following items in any order during the meeting but no sooner than the designated times.

Ordinance approving a contract with Henock Construction, LLC, for manufacturing and installing countertops at various locations for the Building and Equipment Services Department, beginning upon award and ending April 30, 2026, with two one-year renewal options, for an estimated annual cost of $80,000, totaling an estimated $400,000, including renewal options. Funding of $40,000 is from the FY 2023 Facility Services Fund budget and $40,000 is from the FY 2023 Deferred Maintenance Program, included in the FY 2023 - FY 2028 Capital Improvements Program. Ordinance approving a contract with Doug Carl Merritt, dba Craftsman Plumbing, to provide maintenance, inspections, and repair services to lift stations and other waste disposal systems for the Building and Equipment Services Department and the San Antonio Fire Department, term of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, with two one-year renewal options, for an estimated annual cost of $41,000, totaling an estimated $205,000. Ordinance approving a contract with Bergkamp, Incorporated to provide a replacement slurry seal applicator for the Public Works Department for a total cost of $369,700. Ordinance approving a contract with Asphalt Zipper, Inc., for two asphalt reclaiming and trenching attachments with pulverizing systems, and two custom transport trailers for the Public Works Department for a total cost of $575,620. Funding of $319,482 is from the FY 2023 General Fund budget and $256,138 is from the FY 2023 Equipment Replacement and Renewal Fund budget. Ordinance appropriating $500,000 from the River Walk Capital Improvement Fund and approving a contract with Décor IQ to provide and install decorative LED lighting for the San Antonio River Walk in the amount of $343,780. Funding for the contract is from the appropriation. The remaining $156,220 will be used for additional lighting improvements to support the 2023 IPW Conference that will be held in San Antonio from May 20-24, 2023. Ordinance awarding a construction contract to J. Sanchez Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $2,534,387 for the Hays Street Bridge Park project. Funding of $2,441,299 will be from Tax Notes and Certificates of Obligation included in the FY 2023 – FY 2028 Capital Improvement Program. The Ordinance also amends the FY 2023 – FY 2028 Capital Improvement Program with the appropriation of $93,088 from the FY 2023 Tree Canopy Preservation and Mitigation Fund. Ordinance amending two contracts for additional construction, design and contract administration services related to the unforeseen rerouting of communication utilities for the installation of Wi-Fi within the Civic Park at Hemisfair.  The first increases in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for a total contract amount of $28,404,905 with Skanska USA Building, Inc. The second increases in an amount not to exceed $74,453 for a total contract amount of $7,394,431 with GGN Landscape Architecture Ltd.  The ordinance also re-allocates funds in the amount of $500,000 from the FY 2023 General Fund to the Hemisfair Civic Park Project . Ordinance approving a Professional Master Planning and Architectural Design Services Agreement with Alamo Architects, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,397,642 for design and construction administration services related to the new Animal Care Services Veterinary Hospital and an Emergency Overflow & Transport Kennel. Funding is from the 2022 - 2027 General Obligation Bond Program and FY 2023 General Fund included in the FY 2023 - FY 2028 Capital Improvement Program. Ordinance approving the 2023 Pavement Preservation Package 11 – Onyx Seal Task Order Contract to Clark Construction of Texas, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,998,500. Revenue in an amount up to $13,747.31 will be deposited into the Riverwalk Capital Improvement Fund.
