The Public Safety Committee will hold its regular meeting in the Council Briefing Room, City Hall beginning at 9:30 AM. Once convened, the Public Safety Committee will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Members of the public can comment or speak on items on the agenda. Public comment will be scheduled during the meeting by the Chair. If an individual signs up to speak on one or more items, all comments will be heard at the same time. To sign up to speak visit www.saspeakup.com. CONSENT AGENDA
4.
Briefing and possible action on the Complaint and Administrative Review Board (CARB) civilian appointments to fill existing vacancies. [María Villagómez, Deputy City Manager; William P. McManus, Chief of Police]

Briefing and possible action on the submission of a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) grant application and acceptance upon award in an amount up to $2,178,947 from the Office of National Drug Control Policy. [María Villagómez, Deputy City Manager; William P. McManus, Chief of Police]
6.
Briefing and possible action on an application submission from the San Antonio Police Department for a First Responder Mental Health grant from the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division in the amount of $705,000. Executive Session

At any time during the meeting, the Committee may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
