The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will hold its regular meeting in the Municipal Plaza Building, Room B, 114 W. Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205 beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission shall consider the following:

 
Approval of Minutes
 
1.
Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on November 7, 2022
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
 
2.
Protest and appeals of questions from the written examination for the position of District Fire Chief administered on November 17, 2022.
3.
Notice and appropriate action to approve four lists of psychiatrists to evaluate four San Antonio Police Department applicants.
4.
Notice of SAPD and SAFD disciplinary suspensions without pay:
a. An agreed five (5) day suspension for Officer Brian J. Fletcher effective November 8, 2022.
b. A one (1) day suspension for Fire Engineer Ryan Pollok effective November 17, 2022.

These matters have not been appealed and are therefore final.

c. An indefinite suspension for Officer Miguel A. Montalvo effective November 8, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on November 14, 2022.
d. An indefinite suspension for Officer Taylor C. Sanchez effective November 14, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on November 16, 2022.
Public Comments
 
The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission may at any time during the meeting recess into an executive session to discuss personnel and/or legal issues related to any item on this agenda, pursuant to Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.071 (consultation with attorney).
