The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will hold its regular meeting in the Municipal Plaza Building, 114 W. Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Room B beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission shall consider the following:

 
Approval of Minutes
 
1.
Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on July 25, 2022.
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items
 
2.
Protest and appeals of questions from the written examination for the position of Police Lieutenant administered on August 18, 2022.
3.
Discussion and possible action regarding the fitness for duty of one (1) San Antonio Police Officer, pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.071 (Consultation with attorney). This item will be heard in Executive Session before the Commission reconvenes in Open Session to take action.
4.
Review, discussion, and possible action regarding SAPD applicants appeal to beginning positions.

d. An agreed three (3) day suspension for Officer Jonathan M. Costner effective July 20, 2022.
e. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Joshua J. Erdmann effective July 20, 2022.
f. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Jorge Patino effective July 27, 2022.
g. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Samuel L. Martinez effective July 27, 2022.

m. A one (1) day suspension for Officer Alexandro G. Villafranco effective August 11, 2022.
n. An agreed five (5) day suspension for Officer Grady Coleman effective August 16, 2022.
o. A termination for Probationary Officer Kristian Ruiz effective August 16, 2022.
p. An agreed twenty (20) day suspension for Officer Matthew Quintanilla effective August 1, 2022.
q. An agreed one (1) day suspension for Officer Sean E. Rodriguez effective August 9, 2022.
r. A termination for Probationary Officer Matthew Burton effective August 22, 2022.

These matters have not been appealed and are therefore final.

s. An indefinite suspension for Officer Michael A. Brewer effective July 22, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on July 22, 2022.
t. An indefinite suspension for Officer Oscar Cruz Jr. effective August 19, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on August 22, 2022.
