The Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will hold its regular meeting in the 100 W. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Room 10.W1003 beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the Fire Fighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Meeting shall consider the following:

 
Approval of Minutes

Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on April 11, 2022
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

Notice and appropriate action regarding the recertification of the eligibility list for the position of Probationary Firefighter created from Probationary Firefighter Examination administered on March 25, 2022. This list has been recertified due to an error on the original list. This eligibility list will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the effective date or until the list is exhausted.

Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval to administer a Fire Engineer examination. The two-hour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on July 7, 2022, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 900 East Market St. in the Hemisfair Ballroom. The eligibility list resulting from this exam will remain in existence for one year beginning on the first day of the month following the month the written examination was given or until the list is exhausted.

jj. An indefinite suspension for Officer Thomas H. Villarreal effective May 19, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on May 20, 2022. kk. An indefinite suspension for Officer Carlos M. Castro effective May 19, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on May 20, 2022.
l. An indefinite suspension for Officer Martha P. Martinez effective May 31, 2022. A letter of appeal was received on June 1, 2022.
