The Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission Meeting will hold its regular meeting in the Municipal Plaza Building, Room B beginning at 9:00 AM. Once convened, the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.
Approval of Minutes

Approval of the minutes from the Fire Fighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission meeting on {October 11, 2021}
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval to administer a Police Detective Investigator Examination. The two-hour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on May 26, 2022, at the Convention Center, 900 E. Market Street in the Hemisfair Ballroom. The eligibility list resulting from this exam will remain in existence for one (1) year from the day after the written exam was given, or until the list is exhausted.

Notice and appropriate action to approve the announcement for a Fire Lieutenant examination. This two (2) hour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on February 22, 2022, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 900 East Market St., in the Hemisfair Ballroom. The eligibility list resulting from this exam will remain in existence for one (1) year beginning on the first day of the month following the month the written examination was given or until the list is exhausted.

Notice and appropriate action regarding the approval to administer a Fire Captain Examination. The two-hour written examination will be given at 9:00 AM on March 11, 2022, at the Convention Center, 900 E. Market Street in Room 217. The eligibility resulting from this exam will remain in existence for one (1) year beginning on the first day of the month following the month the written examination was given or until the list is exhausted.

Notice and appropriate action to approve the announcement for the Firefighter Trainee examination. This three and a half (3.5) hour written examination will be given at 10:00 AM on May 5, 2022, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 900 East Market Street, San Antonio, TX 78205. The eligibility list resulting from this exam will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of approval or until the list is exhausted.

Approval of the annual lists of potential materials for which promotional examination questions may be taken for written promotional examination for the ranks of Fire Engineer, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, and District Fire Chief. These potential study material lists will be valid for examinations to be administered within the one (1) year period beginning April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023.

Notice and appropriate action regarding the amendment to the eligibility list for the position of District Fire Chief created from the District Fire Chief Written Examination administered on June 11, 2021, and the District Fire Chief Assessment Center administered July 21, 2021, through July 23, 2021. This list is being amended to reflect an adjusted assessment center score. This eligibility list will be valid for a period of one (1) year from the day after the written exam was given, or until the list is exhausted.
8.
Discussion and possible action regarding the fitness for duty of three (3) San Antonio Police Officers, pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.071 (consultation with attorney). This item will be heard in Executive Session before the Commission reconvenes in Open Session to take action.
