The Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting will hold its regular meeting beginning at 2:00 PM. Note there will be no in-person access to this meeting. The meeting will be available to the public by the following toll-free telephone number and meeting number:

Once convened, the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee Meeting will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times:
Approval of Minutes

Approval of the minutes from the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Committee meeting on February 18, 2022 will be considered as part of a future Committee agenda. 
Public Comments

Public comments for, against, or on any item on the agenda may be submitted until 5:00 PM on the day before the meeting using one of below options.  Comments may be provided in English or Spanish and interpretation services will be provided with advanced notice. 

· Email comments of up to 300 words to [email protected].  Comments will be presented to the Committee by City staff either in full or in summary if necessary, for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting.
· Leave a voicemail at (210) 207-3957. Voice messages will be limited to 300 words transcribed and will be presented to the Committee by City staff either in full or in summary if necessary, for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting.
· Sign up for live comment by emailing [email protected].  Callers will need to provide name, phone number, and reference the agenda item on which they would like to speak. Callers should dial in at the start of the meeting and staff will announce the speaker when it is their turn to speak. Individuals will have 3 minutes to speak on this topic.  Afterwards, they will be placed back on mute to listen in to the remainder of the meeting but will not have any further speaking roles.

Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

Facilitation of a Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Disparity Study Focus Group Discussion with the SBEDA Committee by Colette Holt & Associates.
 
At any time during the regular meeting, the Committee may meet in Executive Session for consultation concerning Attorney-client matters on items listed on this Agenda under Chapter 551.071 of the Texas Government Code. Additionally, under the Texas Government Code Section 551.072, a government body may at any time during this meeting conduct an Executive Session to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third party or for economic development negotiations pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.087 (economic development).
