Presentation and possible action on the appeal of the Building Official's decision to deny the Homebuilder Contractor Registration applied for by Alejandro Silva, Jr with Alex Silva Painting & Construction. For the Electrical Engineer Position, the board will take action to administratively switch the Primary (Mark Bemis) and Secondary (Lon Culbertson) membership designations per Section 10-14(d), Qualifications. For the Master Sign Electrician Position, the board will take action to administratively fill the Primary member position previously held by Lydell Toye, resigned, with the current Secondary member position currently held by Peter Sitterle per Section 10-14(d), Qualifications. Development Services Department staff will provide an update on the Sign Code Committee's review of Chapter 28, Sign and Billboard Code.
At any time during the meeting, the Building-Related and Fire Codes Appeals and Advisory Board Meeting may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
