The Small Business Advisory Commission will hold its regular meeting in the “B" Room, Municipal Plaza Building, 105 Main Plaza, beginning at 10:30 AM. Once convened, the Small Business Advisory Commission will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Once a quorum is established, the Small Business Advisory Commission shall consider the following:

 
Approval of Minutes
 
1.
Discussion and action to approve the meeting minutes from the following Small Business Advisory Commission Meetings: November 17, 2021; November 29, 2021; December 4, 2021; December 20, 2021; January 11, 2022.
Public Comments

Individuals may sign up for live public comment the day of the meeting. Those unable to attend the meeting may participate by submitting written comment via email or voice message until 5:00 PM on the day before the meeting. Comments may be provided in English or Spanish and interpretation services will be provided with advanced notice. Email comments of up to 300 words to [email protected]. Voicemail comments can be left at (210) 207-3922. Voice messages will be limited to 300 words transcribed. Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items sent by email or left on voicemail will not be presented to Commission. 
Briefing and Possible Action on the following items

Briefing and discussion on the current list of all small business assistance programs currently managed by the Economic Development Department with budget amount and date of expiration.
3.
Update on the Economic Development Department Strategic Planning Initiative and the role of the Small Business Advisory Commission.
4.
Discussion and possible action on the development of a recommendation related to the capitalization of a small business support portfolio funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
5.
Discussion and possible action on establishing subcommittees.
6.
Discussion and recommendation for next meeting and agenda topics.
