To protect the health of the public and limit the potential spread of COVID-19, the Animal Care Services Advisory Board will hold this meeting via teleconference. These meeting standards are based upon the various suspended provisions of the Open Meetings Act issued by the Governor for the state of Texas, in response to the COVID-19 crisis. These modified standards shall remain in place until further notice, until the disaster declaration expires, or is otherwise terminated by the Governor.

Members of the public can comment or speak on items on the agenda. Public Comments may be provided as follows:
1. Submit written comments, up to 300 words, along with name and address, by emailing them to [email protected] by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Comments will be read into the record during the designated time on the agenda. Only the first 300 words will be read and entered into the record.
2. On the day of the meeting, a commenter(s) may sign up to provide their comments live during the meeting through Telephone Access. To do so, commenter(s) must sign up must occur on the day of the meeting no later than 6:15 p.m. and indicate to ACS staff their wish to speak. Commenter(s) are placed on mute until the Public Comment portion of the meeting, at which point they are given three minutes to provide their comments.

At any time during the meeting, the Animal Care Services Board may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney-client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
