To protect the health of the public and limit the potential spread of COVID-19, the San Antonio Early Childhood Education Municipal Development Corporation Board of Directors will hold a Special Meeting beginning at 2:00 PM via videoconference on the date listed above. These meeting standards are based upon the various suspended provisions of the Open Meetings Act issued by the Texas governor in response to the COVID-19 crisis. These modified standards shall remain in place until further notice or until the state disaster declaration expires, or is otherwise terminated by the Texas governor. Once convened, the Board shall consider the following matters for discussion and possible action:

Board action to ratify the purchase of required insurance from the recommended companies Hartford, Philadelphia, and GuideOne for Pre-K 4 SA Property, Student Incident, and General Liability insurance, respectively, for the North, South, East, and West Education Centers with a total premium of approximately $150,000.00 annually through July 1, 2023 for a total amount not to exceed $300,000.00; the City of San Antonio provides coverage meeting the Workers' Compensation requirement. At any time during the meeting, the Early Childhood Education Municipal Development Corporation may recess into executive session to consult with its attorney (Texas Government Code Section 551.071) to deliberate or discuss any of the following:
