A MEETING OF THE SA2020 COMMISSION ON STRENGTHENING FAMILY WELL BEING WILL BE HELD IN THE WILLIE C. VELASQUEZ CENTER, 1302 N. ZARZAMORA STREET, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS 78207 ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2014 AT 5:30 P.M.., TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
Mission Statement The SA2020 Commission on Strengthening Family Well-Being will serve in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council on matters affecting the well-being of the residents and families of the City of San Antonio. The commission will concentrate efforts on reviewing and advising policy makers and key stakeholders on City funded organizations and programs that align with the SA2020 goals, indicators, and measures: communicating identified concerns to the City Council, City staff, and funded agencies; and working in concert with related stakeholders to foster actions beneficial to the San Antonio community. Modified Open Meetings Act Standards To protect the health of the public and limit the potential spread of COVID 19, the SA 2020 Commission on Strengthening Family will hold this meeting via teleconference. These meeting standards are based upon the various suspended provisions of the Open Meetings Act issued by the Texas Governor in response to the COVID 19 crisis. These modified standards shall remain in place until further notice or until the state disaster declaration expires or is otherwise terminated by the Texas Governor.
