Ready to Work Advisory Board

The Ready to Work Advisory Board will hold its regular meeting in the City Tower Large Conference Room 10.W1003 beginning at 1:00 PM. Once convened, the Ready to Work Advisory Board will take up the following items no sooner than the designated times.

Citizens may make public comments for, against, or on any item on the agenda by signing up to speak in person, emailing their comments to [email protected], or via voicemail through (210) 207-3934, until 5:00pm the day before the meeting. Comments must be limited to 300 words, and may be submitted in English or Spanish, and will be presented to the Board by City staff either in full or in summary, if necessary for the orderly and timely flow of the meeting.  

Note: Comments that do not pertain to the agenda items sent by email or left on voicemail will not be presented to the Board. 


Once a quorum is established, the Ready to Work Advisory Board shall consider the following:

Quarterly Update on SA: Ready to Work Target Industries and Target Occupations.

Introduction and Presentation by Creative Noggin on Marketing Strategy.

Subcommittee Updates.
6.
Discussion on SA: Ready to Work Program Evaluation Contract.
7.
Discussion and Possible Action on Community Outreach Subcommittee Nominee.
8.
Discussion and Possible Action on Advisory Board and Subcommittee Meeting Frequency.
At any time during the meeting, the Ready to Work Advisory Board may meet in executive session for consultation with the City Attorney's Office concerning attorney client matters under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
